Ethical Review

Ethical Review is a micro website covering all aspects of the ethical review processes. It includes guidance documents on good practice for ethical review processes, retrospective review and a resource booklet for lay members of ethical review processes. This microsite will be significantly updated during 2013 to take account of recent legislative change within the European Union and a number of other developments.

This resource was created by the Science Group of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA, UK). Copyright of the microsite is retained by the RSPCA. Guidance notes have been produced in collaboration with other colleagues and organisations including the Laboratory Animal Science Association (LASA, UK).

This resource will be useful both for individuals engaged in the design and conduct of studies using research animals and members of committees charged with the ethical review of these studies.
