Reproducibility and reliability of biomedical research

Reproducibility and reliability of biomedical research provides guidance and strategies for improving the reproducibility of pre-clinical research involving the use of laboratory animals.

It comprises of two downloadable reports; the first, guidance on improving research practice and the second covering reproducibility issues and strategies for addressing these.

These documents arose from a joint symposium held by the UK Academy of Medical Sciences, the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences and Medical Research Councils, and the Wellcome Trust. Copyright is retained by the Academy of Medical Sciences and licensed for use under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence.

This resource will be of use to those who design studies involving laboratory animals or those who use animals in their research.
